PLAN B is a novel and extremely resilient coating compound for concrete floors and work surfaces. Due to its simple application, PALN B is ideally suited to create very robust and durable mineral floor surfaces with little effort. Furthermore, PLAN B can be used to cast concrete kitchen worktops directly (in situ), i.e. without having to pick up and turn over the workpiece again after casting, because the mass runs by itself to an almost perfectly smooth surface.
An advantage of Plan B over other flowable coating compounds is that the material can also be used on surfaces with a slight gradient, for example to design the floor drain in jointless showers.
Unlike normal concrete, PLAN B is insensitive to acids and can withstand frost and temperatures up to 500°C without any problems. The material sets without shrinkage, adheres excellently to mineral and glazed substrates and can also be used on anhydrite and magnesia screeds and epoxy resin-coated surfaces. In addition, it is so low-emission that it meets the extremely strict requirements of emission class EC1-plus of the GEV (Gemeinschaft Emissionskontrollierte Verlegewerkstoffe).
The processing time of PLAN B is 30 to 60 minutes depending on the temperature. The material is grey and can be coloured by adding cement-proof pigments. The recommended quantity is a maximum of 250 g colour pigment per 25 kg bag.
The layer thickness of PLAN B may vary between 5 and 50 mm, so that even larger unevenness in the floor can be easily evened out. Screeds and other absorbent substrates must be pretreated with our SQ penetrating primer.
At a 5 mm layer thickness 1 bag of PLAN B is sufficient for an area of 3 square metres. Enter the planned area and layer thickness of your object in the CONCRETE CALCULATOR below and calculate your exact needs.
