TFC Silicone Rubber Type 17 is a soft condensation-curing silicone with high resistance to aggressive substances. It is very well suited for demanding, elastic and hard-wearing casting moulds with pronounced undercuts. This material can be used to make one-piece or multi-part moulds and for moulding original models made of concrete, clay, wood, glass, metal, plastic, wax or ceramic casting compounds.
Due to its favourable pricing, long working time and good chemical resistance, TFC silicone type 17 is preferably used for impressions of larger models (garden figures, tiles). Since it is a condensation-curing silicone, material incompatibilities (inhibition problems), which can occur with addition-curing silicones, are not to be feared here.
