GRUMO is ideal for the construction of large sculptures made of concrete. This machinable base mortar can be used for laminating and modelling and for processing large sculptures with a plastering machine using the spraying technique. For smaller workpieces GRUMO serves to create a strong base body before details are processed with MOMO modelling mortar. GRUMO and MOMO are perfectly matched to each other for this purpose.
The base material is white and can be coloured by adding pigments. The recommended maximum amount of colour pigments is 20 g per kg dry matter. The material can be shaped for up to 2 hours and hardens after one day. By mixing with BUMS universal mortar the set can be accelerated as desired.
GRUMO results in a weather-resistant and frostproof concrete and, because of its excellent properties, is popular not only for artists but also for DIY enthusiasts who want to make garden figures for themselves.
